Make-A-Mask

Alright, Shakespeareans. This week's assignment is to:

Make a Mask!
It can be anything, but it might help to think in terms of creating some kind of "character." We're going to have fun with them next week in class, so be sure to finish them before next Wednesday!

Special Events This Week

In addition to class this week, we have two special events planned. They're going to be great fun!

1) Parents' Renaissance Picnic: This Saturday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM we will hold a potluck dinner and the Shakespeare students from last semester will get to share what they learned about studying the play "Julius Caesar". We'll watch the top three presentations, recite our set-piece, and have a great time, so bring the family! (Location details coming soon.)

2) Renaissance Festival Field Trip: On Thursday, we will be attending the Renaissance Festival out near Gold Canyon together as a class. Those who completed the 10 Steps get to go at no charge, but other family members are welcome to come and join us. This is a special school day at the Festival, so prices are lower, the shows are cleaner, and it's just more family-friendly all around, compared to the regular weekend. Contact Mrs. Merrill if you have any questions.

*Remember to come to class this week with a smile, ready to work on those acting skills. See you Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday! :-)
