These Shakespeare plays have been lovingly edited and revised for length (Each play is between one and a half hours and two hours.) and content (They are all family friendly!) so that any school, homeschool group, or community can produce and perform a wonderful Shakespeare play in it's original language.
All scripts can be freely and legally copied for all cast and crew members of your production! All I ask is that you do not share your script copies with other groups. Just be honest, and appreciate all the work that has gone into these edits.
You will notice quite a bit of other editing in my versions of the Bard's plays, too. I cut the plays for length, but I also have changed the gender of some roles, renamed characters, and even swapped lines between some characters. This gives more students a chance to have lines in the show and also to give more girls the chance to play female characters.
Sometime in the next life, I fully expect Mr. Shakespeare to track me down and demand why I have taken such liberties with his plays. I will apologize, of course, but I will also remind him of all the material he "borrowed" in his career, and maybe he will forgive me in the end.

*Some can be played by female actors.
