Off To A Great Start!

Are you enjoying Macbeth? I know I am! :-) Before class this week, I encourage you to bring any questions or comments on this week's reading to class. Our discussions have been pretty sedate so far! LOL!

Remember that the reading assignment is Act I, Scenes 5 through 7.

And the writing assignment is to write a paper discussing "When is ambition good? When is it bad? Explain."

We're excited to see Elizabeth's presentation on "Superstitions" this week. What a great way to begin the month of October! ;-)

How many plays have you read/watched/listened to? You still have some time to fit in a few more!

See ya Thursday! :-)

Fall 2010!!!

Hello, Shakespeareans!

I am so very excited for our class to begin on next Thursday, September 9th! We will meet in my home at Dobson and Ray in Chandler from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. (E-mail me for the address and directions!)

Here's what EACH STUDENT will need for our YES class:

   * A  3-ring binder with lined paper to write on,
   * A Cliffs Complete copy of the play Macbeth. (Amazon has them at various prices at: http://www.amazon.com/Macbeth-Cliffs-Complete-William-Shakespeare/dp/076458572X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282583824&sr=1-1
    * WE will provide each student with a student work book on the first day of class. (It's free!)

Are you ready for Shakespeare??? Say YES!!! ;-)

Love,
Mrs. K.
